Why are you not entering 'Tags' for your posts and comments?

All of us here may have noticed the word 'Tag' below our posts and comment boxes.
To my knowledge, 'Tags' are search words or keywords used to make a post visible when someone searches an article or post related to topics he or she is looking for. I'm used to these when I was active in FanBox.com. I know somehow that this is important so that more would be able to find your posts, help others to find more of what they are searching, and additional earnings if it is your post that they were directed by the search engine.
I just observed that very members here are placing 'Tags' in their posts. I seldom type words related to what I'm trying to look up at the search box above but they don't exist. I know that many discussions were here already and I'm quite convinced that the topic I'm looking is already here.
Are you placing 'Tags' for your posts or comments?

That's still good. I only put tags when I know my post is something relevant or urgent.

I add tags to almost every discussion. I'm not as likely to add tags to my responses.

i think the tags also convert to hashtags when you share it on social media

I agree. Maybe there is a point why the admin or developer added the tagbox for comments. Maybe for responsible tagging.

I add a tag to posts but not to comments and responses. I don't know if tags help.

That's great. I wonder also why a tag box is provided below comments. It's the discretion of the site owner and I believe it's useful.

I enter tags for every discussion I made, though I don't think someone will be searching about a certain topic that I have discussed. I don't tag my comments, most members are not doing it, so I think it's okay.... I guess.
The important is the interaction.

I dont usually post tags in my discussions more especially in my responses. Why? Because It's not my habit to search for topics. I usually opt to go to interesting discussions tab or to the discussions of my follows.
