Where has this year gone? It seems like just yesterday I was watching all the children dressed in their Halloween costumes were heading to town for the big event we have here.
Here it is September already and each day seems to go by faster and faster. Will time ever slow down and let us catch up?
Halloween will pass and then Thanksgiving will appear instantly. The turkey will be cooked and everyone will be full and then wham bam quess what happens
Christmas will be here. Santa has been preparing for this day all year but have you?
Is it just me or is the time flying by faster than it used to?

I'm ready for all three holidays, but do wish time would slow down a bit.

@sugartoes I hadn't even thought about them until last night and the time has still gone fast. Maybe it is trying to tell me something.

@sugartoes I know how the weather can change and I wouldn't ask the kids to change their day just for me. It would be my luck that it would storm on the new day.

I've been slowly preparing for it all year, but still feel behind with Christmas (even though it's still months away)! I need to start making room in the freezer for turkeys.

@spiderdust My daughter-in-law is doing Thanksgiving again this year. Wince she learned to cook a turkey she wants to do it every year.

@velvet53 I've been looking up recipes so I can try to streamline the Thanksgiving prep.
