This is a menace that has come to stay.Humans sexually harassing one another. This occurs anywhere possible, church, school, playground, offices, marketplace wherever.
If one is sexually harassed, what are the best ways to tackle this?Do we pray it away, call the cops, fight back, report etc
How does one fight back sexual harassment?

Make some noise if you're in a public place, and don't just keep it in. People like this would misunderstand your silence as you liking it, so being silent, is one of the worst things you can do. If done at a workplace, go report to the management and the police. Never suffer in silence.

@augusta123 If you feel that you just cannot do anything against CEO, you have no option but to leave the job, instead of suffering.

In many offices they have harassement cells. One can report to them.

Tell them you are going to report them. That is the best way to handle it.

@augusta123 You could indirectly warn your boss also that whatever s/he is doing, is not acceptable and you would report the matter to appropriate authorities.

If the one being harassed sexually is a woman, then fight would be a bad solution, so it is better if she call the cops

@augusta123 Yes, you may want to call the cops. You might want to get some eyewitnesses and proof before making a report though.

Even reporting won't help if no one believes you. But I would insist on fighting back and reporting. If it doesn't work, then we should avoid the person completely.

@mildredtabitha that means your job would be gone, because you can't work wiith him and sue at the same time.

@augusta123 I would report to the police so they can start early investigations.

Very difficult, because sometimes the ofender says that he did not do it deliberately. It happened accidentally. But if the victim goes on keeping quiet, then the harassment could reach great heights, which could even include rape.
The best thing is to make sure one is at a good distance from others. It is better, as much as possible, not to sit close to anybody from the opposite gender. And even then , if it happens, then protest, shout, fight back. If it reaches drastic levels, then police complaint is the option.
