My baby boy is very fond of FRENCHFRIES! If we go to the fast food, he always eat FRENCHFRIES he don't want to eat other food, like rice ,chicken or spaghetti! But I think it is good because fries is made from POTATO. And it's healthy.

It is also full of grease. 1 or 2 times/week is alright, if he eats more he risks to be quickly overweighted.

@resukill22 Everything is good as long as it is not abused. Eating always the same food is never good, you lack some vitamins and trace elements if you do that. Humans need a varied food to be healthy.

maybe you can cook them at home so you can control the amount of oil. maybe you can use kamote (sweet potato) instead.

Too much fried foods will clog his little arteries and cause him to become overweight. Be careful that he has it in moderation only.

If you prepare the french fries yourself and do not add too much salt and oil, then it can be good. Do remember though that anything in excess is bad for the body.

Well a friend of mine has some weird obsession with french fries. Whenever we try out a new place he judges the food quality by ordering a plate of fries and that is a stupid way to judge the place for which we make ample fun of him. But now to the important part, fries are not a very healthy option. Potato is full of starch which induces fat and when fried the saturated and unsaturated cholesterol levels increase, i would recommend you to keep a check on the little one's fried food intake. Once or twice a week is fine but if he eats it everyday might pose problems in the future. You can always consult a doctor.
