I have been using different security software and the reason why I keep changing them is the RAM issue.
I am a gamer, and it takes a lot of RAM and graphics memory to be able to score well.
Unfortunately almost every AV software or security software use too much of RAM, which forces me to uninstall it and then try another one.
So far I have tried these:
1. ESET
2. Avira
3. Avast
4. Kaspersky
5. Mcafee
Which AV software do you use and why? Your recommendation/suggestion is welcomed based on your own experience with the AV software.
Thanks a lot.

How come no one has ever tried to create something malicious for Linux? I mean how come Linux is never vulnerable?

@zainkhan121 It is vulnerable, but the damages that can be done by a malware on a Linux platform are very limited, except if it manages to get root access. Same for Android.

If you are gamer, better turn off or uninstall your antivirus software as it would slow your PC down. I know, that you are worried about virus and stuff. But if you know how the internet works, you might want to turn off your antivirus.
If you insist to use AV, I would suggest Microsoft Security Essentials, as it consumes little amount of your RAM.

MSE has got so many negative comments on forums that I never bothered installing it and using it.
