Hi My lot! I missed it. Today, the number behind my name , the one that counts interactions and discussions surpassed 7777! (Of course I missed the exact posting that put it over.) Maybe I should play the lotto today?
What are you guy's opinions on gambling?
I think gambling is best when seen as a form of entertainment. I enjoy a nice game of bingo once in awhile. I see it as entertainment, much like going to a movie. However it is a danger when one starts counting on winning. Sometimes I play bingo at bingo halls and casinos, but one of my favorites is the local bar's free "bargo" game where you win small prizes.
I know how to play blackjack, but I have never played it at a casino. At $3 minimum bet - those games go way too fast for my liking. My favorite was an old computer game called "Hoyle Casino".
Slots - way back when I was 18-early 20s I used to play the penny slots. Never won much. Under $10. I haven't played them in years. I do like looking at the graphics on the games though. Fish, ocean life, cats, horses, stunning women and dashing men, music stars, movies, TV shows, games. There are almost countless themes for casino slots.
Scratch off games - I have only played a couple of times. Never won. Sometimes they are confusing to know what you are looking for.
Pull - tabs. Easily my least favorite. I wasted $11 total on them. No thanks. I also dislike how gas stations sell them. I have had to wait on many occasions for people buying pull tabs to get done with their transactions in order to pay for my fuel.
The lottery - I have never played it. I want to try it though, just to say I did it. I even have my numbers picked out. (The numbers from the TV show "Lost")
Filling out the surveys on receipts for a chance to win - I haven't won, yet that is. But it really is like free gambling.
Many times I have enjoy the generosity of my friend's parents. The gamble at one of the casino chains here and as a result get free offers - rooms, concert tickets, movies, food -- I enjoy the inclusion , but there is a method to the madness of the casino - they give these free gifts in a fashion such that the gamblers stay over night(s) (probably to keep them playing?) ...
Well, those are the main types of gambling I can think of. Do you gamble? What are your feelings on it? What are your favorite and least favorite games if you ever do play>?
Here's a fitting song for the topic:
Sawyer Brown- The Race Is On I do not own this song. Obviously. I haven't really found a lyrics video of this song, and well, there needs to be! So here you ...

Probably quite true. I like my game of bingo. When I first started you could play all night for under $20. Now - it's gone up - not quite cheap entertainment anymore. :/

I think that is wise. Run while you are ahead with winnings :-)

I am not a gambler by any definition of the word. Rarely will I buy a lottery ticket. When I do I spend no more than $2.
Even bingo is something that I once played but not often. I didn't like tossing $15 out the window to sit in a crowded room and listen to a bunch of people moan and groan when someone else called BINGO. LOL

I hope you can find a nice hall to play at - they just opened one near me. There is something to people watching as you play

I love to play poker. But never in a casino, I never go to casino's. My friends and I play poker maybe once every 2 or 3 months. We have to have 30 bucks to sit at the table and it's always a good time. Actually fairly cheap evening even if you lose all your money.

I wish I knew poker, it's on my list of things I want to learn. (Long list) there is something to be said for playing for fun money :-)

Oh that is unfortunate, but in the end, by not playing you probably are a winner

@YrNemo Oh ha ha, that is funny. My childhood friend liked that I didn't have a Nintendo -- she would always win at it

I never played loot either, I played in some Casinos in Las Vegas only because I received free money to play. I missed my round figure of 100,000 interaction, I wanted to take at least a print screen, when I noticed I was already at 109,000.

I grew up in Nevada, so gambling is not a big deal to me. I do it every so often.

Oh wow - I would love to see Nevada (country side) -- and I bet you would be pretty immune to gambling. Went to Vegas once. Loved it, a little intense, but loved it. Put $20 in a slot. Didn't win. Put $5 in a "claw" machine ... didn't win there either

It's true. Actually I've thought about assembling bag for awhile. Inside the bag put food items, bottle water, toothbrush, tooth paste, hair brush.... give to people out begging
