Do you keep track of your expenses?

Philippines

I do this everyday through an app on my phone. The app is called "AndroMoney". I do this to make sure that I don't lose track of my expenses. It helps me a lot since I will be able to monitor my expenses and make adjustments if necessary. This is also to make sure I don't spend beyond my means. Yes it is! I have been using this way back when I was in Japan for an overseas assignment. It has been a cool app for me and helped me a lot in checking my expenses. Hopefully this can help others too.

You can start today and see the difference of having your expenses track. You will learn where most of your money goes. With that you can make some adjustments on your budget and fix when there is a problem with your budget.

Honestly I don't. Before I used to have a budget on a daily, weekly and monthly. But due to some circumstances I don't have a fix amount. I just have like a range of how much the expenses should be. Then from there I make adjustments from time to time. How about you my friend?

You are doing great. Budget planning is one common reason why many are still in the rat rat race.

I only manage my money by going to my bank's website. I did have an app but I hardly used it and then had to delete it due to the fact of causing space in my phone. I think so far going to the website helps a lot. Then again, I do need to do a little more work since I have a lot of transactions that are not necessary.

Well I guess you need to sort your transactions to make it organized. I am not used to relaying on bank statement to monitor my cash flow.

I don't track where our money goes as I already know and we don't really go shopping and such very often and my husband no longer makes spur of the moment buys as I showed him how it adds up. So I know where it all goes.

@JasperTore If you mean track as when we use our debit card then I do, I use a bank book and take out what was used or when I pay a bill I do the same.

@Ithink I see. So you always use your card for transactions. Here in the Philippines, cash is the mode of payment. Sometimes cash can be used. But that is only for big transactions.

Ok got it my friend. Well some people need to track some don't need. As long as we know where it goes then everything is alright. But if the money cannot be trace then that is a problem there. Because you might not know how much you still have.

@JasperTore ..Nope..maybe that`s the problem with me..I don`t look back with my expenses because for me my past expenses are expenses that I needed in the past and might not be in need in my present. So, I usually throw them away after 1 year

@m_audrey6788 Me I use it when I needed it so that is why I am using an app to keep track of my expenses.

Nice, an old way of keeping track of expenses. A good way too to look back on your past expenses.
