Good morning. How is the weather in your area? It is still raining here. It has been rainy for the past two days. There is lots of flooding in the low lying areas of the city. We live up on a hill so we never have to worry about flooding.
I will have to do my walking inside again today. I prefer my outside walks much better but at least I am still getting my walks in so that is all that matters.
I will be staying inside where it is warm and dry. Thinking today might be the day where I clean out my fridge and cupboards. Now that I am feeling better there are a few things that I want to get done before I head back to work.

It's chilly and partly sunny here. A good part of August was chilly overnight, good sleeping weather. We are only supposed to have highs in the low 70's here for the next 10 days. Awesome, no heat and no air. Love that.

Our state is currently on Emergency Alert because of Hurrican Irma that is scheduled to hit Florida. I am afraid that until the threat is gone we are all a bit worried.

That's a smart idea to get ahead on some of the chores that you won't have time to finish after you return to work. 
Cleaning out the cupboards and wiping them down isn't so bad if you do it regularly.
I worked today, and it wasn't a bad day, could have been better, but its over.
When I got home it was just starting to rain.

Just more or less want to organize the cupboards. I don't have a lot of cupboard space so I have a lot in them. It's getting kind of cluttered.

Damp, grey, but not too cold. In comparison to what is happening in many parts of the world I count myself lucky still to have a home to warm myself up in.
Somethings give a measure of perspective, don't you think?
