It Doesn't Look Good For Florida

Irma is headed for Florida and it doesn’t look good at all. Here in Virginia, we are concerned where Irma will go next. I haven’t watched the weather this morning as of yet, so I’m headed downstairs now for a cup of coffee and I will turn on the TV and see what is happening. The sun is shining bright here now and I’m headed for the chiropractor this afternoon. So, I’m anxious to find out what the day will bring. I fear that the weather is going to bring some rain to our area, but it could be more than that. I’m praying for those who have been in the path of this powerful hurricane. Some of the islands have been devastated, I’ve heard. I’ve actually been to Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, St. John, The Bahamas, St. Maarten, Jamaica and Bermuda. There is no place to go and no place to run on an island. I fear that the damage will be really bad.

I feel so bad for the places this hurricane has already hit. =( Last night it looked as though it was more to the East and we wouldn't have a direct hit, at least where I am. Of course, it could change at any time. I just pray for the safety of everyone it does hit.

I've been thinking about you. I hope it doesn't come your way. I need to go look at the current information about the path Irma is taking. Virginia is on the coast too, so we may get some of the backlash.

Yes, like you are saying, I hope people follow all the instructions to get to safety.. Our storms are nothing, compared to the hurricanes.. we can just keep praying and hope for the best..

Seems like there has been a lot of damage to some of the islands and I guess Florida is hoping for the best but expecting the worst. Pretty scary isn't it

I have never really thought about that-no where to go if living on an island. I wonder if they are equipped with storm shelters. One might think only the wealthy, those who can afford to be airlifted might be able to be evacuated.
