Carrie 2 was alright. The Shining was a really good movie. I liked the original though I heard Stephen King was unhappy with the way Nicolson played the character so they redid it with a tv movie which was also good.

I used to go with Christine, but Carrie is definitively better. Much better. I didn't like Dreamcatcher, don't know why, something didn't feel right with that movie.

That movie was so scary when I watched the premiere of it. It's definitely up there for me. If you liked that you should see The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer which is the person who owned the mansion.

I have heard of the movie but I don't think I've seen it. I might have come across it on cable and watched a little bit of it. I want to see this though because I try to watch every Stephen King movie. His movies are great.

The Dreamcatcher, it's strange. Always wanted to see It - the book scared me.

That's one I can't believe I've never seen. I'll have to pick that up. Right now I'm got the dvd set for Nightmares and Dreamscapes which is weird and very scary. Love Stephen King.

There are quite a few Stephen King movies that I like. I think he is by far the best horror writer out there these days. I just saw a trailer for his newest movie and it looks just as good as any of the older Steven King movies he has put out. I was actually considering buying a few of his movies. I think he has such a unique style of writing that it really grabs the reader and doesn't't let go for the entire length of the film. I loved every single movie he had written and there are times that I wish he would go ahead and lend his pen to writing the screenplays for more strange films. I grew up with Stephen King's films. I found each film to contain unique and different characters that made the film stand out on it's own. I found that Stephen King tends to write stories about all kinds of strange and unexplained phenomenon. I remember when I saw the movie Pet Sematary I thought it was quite amazing that there was an area that could bring animals back to life. I felt it was a really unique concept. I kind of wanted to use that place sometimes to bring back some of the pets that I used to have years ago. Then I thought, hmmm, they'd be evil...That would be really interesting to have to deal with.. It's so hard for me to go ahead and pick one single movie of his that I like. There are so many to choose from. The best I could come up with was a list of my favorite movies of his that he's made from his books, etc. The list is as follows: Pet Sematary, IT, Rose Red, Carrie 2: The Rage, Misery, Dolores Claiborne and Sometimes They Come Back. Some of these I did not watch until I was able to rent them, others I saw when they were originally run on television. In conclusion.. I honestly just find that in certain movies I was and still can identify with one of the characters. Especially the two movies that I had seen with Kathy Bates. As you can see, it is rather difficult to choose one specific film that I like, there's just too many good ones out there that are done by him. I look forward to seeing some of the movies that he comes up with in the near distant future.. As I think they would be just as brilliant as the ones he has created already! . . Thanks for allowing me to share! xx

My all time favorite Stephen King movie is Rose Red. The one where the people go stay in the house that is always changing and building itself. I also like the movie Thinner.

I just watched the TommyKnockers like a couple of months ago with my husband. I had bought him the dvd for christmas and we finally got around to watching it. It creeped me out with all the people's teeth falling out and stuff.

Firestarter! Drew Berrymore was so good in it.

It has to be 'The Shawshank Redemption'. This was an amazing film. I enjoyed the Kubrick version of 'The Shining' but I have to say that the more recent TV movie was a better bet. The TV mini-series 'The Stand' was pretty good as well.
