Planning to watch a movie today after a long time!

I can't remember the last time I saw a movie in the theater. Planning to watch "IT", the horror movie with scary clown. That statement made me laugh, horror movie and clown generally don't go together. Has anyone seen it already? How's the movie?

I remember watching the first movie when I was eight and to be honest, I think that started my thing with clowns. I can't stand them now. Even at birthday parties I stay far far away from them. I am going to watch the new one when it comes out here. It looks more sinister than the first one I watched and will probably give more reason to avoid clowns at all cost.

@amal06 I saw a youtube video comparing the two and the Pennywise character now looks really sinister and evil.

@rosedust82 Actually it is. Tim curry had done an outstanding Job in the older one but this one is way more evil.

I've seen the trailer of the movie. It looks more like a psycho thingy type movie than a horror movie to me. I guess i just have different definition of a horror.

Never judge a book by its cover friend. This movie is anything but a psycho thingy. Well I saw the movie and it can be classified in horror. Don't want to post spoilers but yeah not to the level of conjuring, got a bit bored, was excessively stretched.

@amal06 just because they look scary and recently, in some parts of the U.S there have been real killer clowns spotted, it has been on the news.
