I am happy - autumn is here already. Will be slower, darker, colder - it means we will get closer to one another and will drink warm fragrant tea more often.
The going for a walk will become rarer, but more appreciable, visible, welcome and more valuable.
More often we will read books, we will play table games, will talk, be, live at home. We will invest more warmth of the heart into the being together, which would replace the sun.
I love autumn, its colors, chilly weather, cozy being at home in the evenings. Rustling leaves under the feet, flying webs and colors, colors of the nature.
Autumn is here and I love it.

Having lost my husband and being on my own I am not looking too forward to the long dark nights. The days will be lovely with crisp walks. So I guess I better stack up on things to do and many, many books.

This is a lovely picture. I've seen how pretty trees get when they start changing colors. We don't have that here. It's either summer or rainy season.

I will tell you that picture you posted here is absolutely beautiful. I can see why you like it. For me it means that our holidays begin and come almost one right after another.

Autumn is my favorite time of year. I love the beauty in the color, the weather, and the coziness. I have never thought about being home and together more during that time, but it is true. Most of our family gatherings are in the fall, followed by winter. The summer seems to take everyone in separate directions. I love family time. Maybe that is another reason I love the fall so much.
