In article writing one of best and promising ways in getting clients is cold pitching. Although, it take patience and resilience to get even one client, it is one of the best ways. Does anyone knows of other ways of getting jobs rather than cold pitching.

@AkoPinay There is a new occupation (profession) that I posted in myLot months ago. It is called professional cuddling. You cuddle me tenderly and lovingly and I will pay you a fee - -say $100 per hour.

. . But I suggest, if you are interested to try this new exciting profession, go for wealthy clients like Donald Trump!

You could try to do some work voluntarily for various organizations that need your type of content, and show this work to potential clients. Or you could post online some samples of your existing portfolio, and build it up gradually, in order to showcase yourself to prospective clients, for example through your blog, Facebook page, Slideshare, Scribd, etc.
