New to MyLot

@pjmurphy Some of us have been here for several years.

I didn't know MyLot was here before, and I got to Bubblews late.

I've not been active at all on hubpages since finding bubblews and now mylot, yet I've been making approximately fifty dollars per year mostly on one article that I wrote my first year there. Although fifty a year isn't much, it's decent considering that I'm not active on there at all at present. It's true passive income. It does help if you know something that a lot of people desire information about. The majority of my articles don't bring in anything, but I only have about seven to nine of them. I have one more topic I could write about if I ever find a match to light under my butt.

@pjmurphy I wrote about a situation I have to deal with every year in my yard and garden and it appears that it's something that others have to deal with also and that's why it's made it to the top of the search engines. Now, it's been put onto one of their niche sites and that helps a lot too, For a while there, I was getting paid from hubpages at least twice per year and once three times, but for some reason things have slowed down again. How many articles do you have there at present?

@pjmurphy I used to be here every day 4-5 years ago. Now I look at it as an escape. I'm retired - I have plenty of time.

It took me a while to come here. I just didn't want to invest too much time on this type of site.

@deazil I'm retired also, but I find my days still very full.

@paigea I live in Tennessee. It feels a little like a reunion coming here.

I'm seeing a few names that look familiar to me, but not many. I came to Bubblews a little late and did not write nearly as much as some.

@pjmurphy some use different names here than they did there. Like me.

@Bluedoll I didn't either and was not overly active there either. But I enjoyed the interactions.

@pjmurphy I think many are. I was also going to join Bubble, but later changed my mind because owner of Bubble were not trustworthy

There are a few I recognize and it feels a little like old home week.

Hi, Abby. I remember you. You live near Chattanooga, right? Your user name is a little difference, but I remember your profile pic. I lived in Chattanooga at one time and have family there still.

You photo looks familiar to me, but I don't know if we were connected there or not.

Hi, Valerie. I think I was connected to you on Bubblews. Glad to see you're still doing well.

Bubblews was a lot like this place. It's now defunct. HubPages is a site where you can write more detailed articles and get passive income. It's a good site, but takes a bit more work to write articles.

@pjmurphy Thanks Jo, but, it really does not sound like something I want to do. I write a blog, but, I want something like My Lot.

@pjmurphy I signed up on My Lot, over a year ago. Then, I didn't do anything on this site. About two months back, I logged in just to find out why everyone likes it so much. Now, I understand, it's a friendly group of people, that made me feel welcomed.
