Have you ever missed the old version of someone? Either they are your friend, sweetheart or family member. Did it cross your mind that if only you could turn back the old them, you would? As I am typing here, there is someone on my mind, the person who used to be the closest to my heart. I am reminiscing all the moment that I had with that person, I am remembering how that person made me happy in so many ways. Now I miss everything. I miss the way we talk before, I miss the way we treat each other before. It hurts, because everything has changed. How we are before is totally different now. Sometimes, I feel like I am talking to a different person, and seeing those changes hurt me even more. I guess missing someone who they used to be could be one of the most painful thing you would ever feel.

People come and go in our lives. What matters is shared great memories with them tho we are no longer as close as we used to be. :)

I know, those memories with them are something we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Well it's just that, sometimes, they are still around but seems to be a stranger, that hurts.

Absolutely I know this feeling! I had a friend who I was so close to for a couple years. Then...she left her husband, left church and started acting completely different. It broke my heart and I no longer consider her my friend.

@anorona Yeah, I always want to call her and hope she went back to the way she was but I know that's not the case. =( Yes I do pray for her all the time that she will find God again.

That is sad, when people leave..they also leave a space in our hearts, like a void that we always try to fill. I think all you can do for her now is to pray for her even if things did not come out good.

@LovingMyBabies I am sorry to hear that. Maybe we have to accept some things that will never come back to how they used to be, even if it hurts so much.

You're right. Sad thing is we cannot really control it. Like what they say, change is the only constant thing in this world.

Yes, I miss my grandparents from both sides. How I wish they could turn back and see my kids (their great grandchildren)

Day by day situations are change our life style also .. so obviously OLD IS GOLD When they changed we hurt but . You have to find the reason why it's happening why he change .. every situation have a reason and every reason is a way of solution .so go and find it without worrying about old days live in present situation.
