21 Day Detox Diet Results

Well, I went and officially weighed "out" and had my "after" pictures taken at the gym this morning. According to their scale, I lost almost 8 pounds. Yesterday, according to my scale, I had lost over 9 pounds. I'm really not stressing over such a small variation in number because your weight does fluctuate within a pound or two over the course of a day. Whether it is 8 or 9 pounds, that is still a decent amount for 3 weeks--about 3 pounds lost per week.
There are other benefits that I've gotten from the program. First, I've cleaned up my diet and gotten back on track. No bad carbs have snuck in, I'm eating more fruit, I've switched white rice and potatoes to brown rice and sweet potatoes, etc. And, secondly, according to my FitBit my resting heart rate has dropped by about 10 beats per minute during this time which I find very interesting.
I will continue with most of the rules of the Detox Diet though I am bringing back my morning coffee and my cocktails on the weekend. The rest of it can stay, though.

You did good! I definitely could be eating more healthy myself. My coffee won't be going anytime soon though, lol
