Burritos. I made burritos for for dinner for the first time ever. For the longest time I would just buy them because they are not that expensive. But for some reason Tony asked me to make them at home so I did and I made mine vegetarian using morning star steak strips and his with real steak.
I do admit that I can just about cook anything when I try, that is why I do have one cookbook about ready to publish.
What was for dinner at your house?

Yesterday, I had some left over roast with corn. I had visions of making mashed potatoes, but I didn't feel like it when the time came. Today is spaghetti with ground turkey.

@andriaperry I'm just about finished eating - steak and potatoes. Very thin steak, I had to be careful I didn't over cook it.

@andriaperry I am not too keen on some of their pasta dishes, but the rest, seem simple & fast to make. (Not the ravioli though! I have never tried that one.)

Ha Ha Don't laugh but I had a frozen burrito but added all the goodies to it. I normally make my own cause I will make a big batch and freeze them. I didn't have any made so I bought a frozen one. Big difference in the taste, isn't there?

@andriaperry They do come in handy. My youngest son is used to me making breakfast burritos for him. When I had my accident and couldn't do much he really missed them.

Refried Beans as a base, topped with cooked thin sliced steak, cooked lightly onions and green peppers, a drizzle of cheese ( I use jar ragu cheese) a drizzle of salsa, flip up the bottom and roll. I had guac too but I did not want any and I used fake meat for mine.
