Freelance writers

How many of you are freelance writers? I LOVE writing. I even won a writing contest on soil and water conservation when I was 10 years old. I use to write essay after essay and I would write articles pretending i was writing for a magazine when I was growing up. My dream was to be a journalist. Since THAT didn't happen and I'm too old to really start over (I'm 35) ... what now. Writing is my passion. But I just don't know how to get into it, especially at this stage in my life. How do I jump into writing and I don't mean quit my present job. I just need some writing in my life and see where it goes.

I cannot call myself as a writer. I blog from time to time and earned less than $3,000 since 2013.

I like to write, but it's just more of hobby than a passion. It's also a way of earning extra money online for me since I write for postloop and forum wheel. I

Online publishing can get you an entry though I have not tried it myself. Then there are sites that require professional work and commitment. I have been "whiling away" on sites for seven years just for the heck of it - siva
