most people have mistakenly believe that the number one attraction for visitors to thailand is prostituition. it cant be denied that it is to an extent. but there is much much more to thailand. i believe the country meaning the entire population itself is tourism oriented. the people are ever so polite.despite the massive traffic jams the taxi drivers dont curse and swear. the food are varied and so affordable. and what about the recent coup! flowers and food for the military. foreigners taking photographs with the soldiers. only in thailand are such things possible!

Thailand is a beatiful country with
many Buddhist temples and other tourist
locations . interestingly it is also a
place for medical tourism (esp. for
surgeries)

You are absolutely right my friend. Medical tourism is very big business in thailand, india,singapore and on a modest scale malaysia too. we have the specialist and nursing care and foreigners from the developed nations are coming to our shores for the affordable rates we charge.
