It is dead, I think

I am lotting on my tablet. I believe the mouse on my desktop is dead. This of course happened AFTER I havebeen to WalMart. It worked fine before 4 oclock. Now, the light is on so it is connected. nothing responds when I left click. Sometimes the right click opens things. I was able to open the troubleshooter, which found nothing. Unless it has a spontaneous healing over night, hubby will replace it at work tomorrow.

I recently got a new one too, I prefer the corded mouse but they are getting harder to find.

Is there a reason you like corded better?

@fishtiger58 Mine is working well, so far, except with what I did to it this morning, which will be another discussion.

@GardenGerty I think they work better and I don't have to remember to change the batteries. I have had a couple of battery ones and they skip and I hate that haven't had that happen with a corded one.

Good luck for a self healing during the night. Sometimes turning off the computer fixes things.

I am guessing it is not wireless? When mine acts up it's because I need to change the battery.

Try plugging it in on a different USB port. I sometimes have that kind of problem and all I do is plug it in a different port, preferably far from the power cord. If it doesn't work then it's time to get that mouse replaced.

Unless we find one of a different color. Spontaneous healing would be cheaper,
