Remembering M. Visvesvaraya The Engineer's Day in India is celebrated on the birth anniversary of M. Visvesvaraya. He is the chief engineer is responsible for constructing Krishna Raja Sagara dam in Mandya district of Karnataka State. He received the prestigious Bharat Ratna in 1955.
