I was listening to this man talk, and he was saying that, his doctor told him he had to eat, a small amount of grapes, he didn't agree with that, and he does not take medication, and he was saying he had, problem with his kidneys, I don't understand people like this, I don't have problems with my kidneys, but I do have Type 2 diabetes, and I do take all my medications, that I am told to take, I get good reports from my doctors, because I do what I am told to do,I am one person that will go see my doctor, I guess you can say everybody, is different but I don't like taken chances, with my health.

Yes, it is important to take care of your health and follow doctor's recommendations. My Mom passed from a stroke which was a result of having diabetes. She was a wonderful person, but did not always stick to her diet.

@TLilly15 Same thing, although my Mom suffered for 3 months before she passed (she was not able to swallow food). Very sad, but glad she is no longer suffering.

Personally, I can't blame those people sometimes the patient feels despaired and he'll be like "what's the use of this diet" I'm still going to dye anyway ... so in my opinion I think it's the doctor's responsibility to give them some hopes and encourage them to follow the diet and use their medications.
