Mice are not fond of coughee (coffee)

Well, at least my new wireless mouse is not fond of coffee. You may well ask how I know this and I would tell you I did a dumb thing. I carried my breakfast, and coughee over to the desk. Meanwhile Princess tried to help me. I baptized my new wireless mouse with hot coffee. It IMMEDIATELY refused to work. I was thinking I fried it and would have to get another one, but we fixed it. I left it with a fan blowing on it all day. Hubby got home, pulled the back open, removed the battery, and stood the mouse in the fan again. Then it decided it would forgive me and work again. That is why I am joining in here tonight.

Perhaps, you needed to add some cream and sugar to your coffee and your mouse will it then? Glad, you got the mouse working again though.

The mouse might have liked it, but it would have become "all stuck up".

The mouse survived, this is why my husband banned any kind of drinks and food around the computers.

I know, it should happen. I had a friend whose grand son poured Dr. Pepper on her keyboard.

@Marty1 I never bring food near the computer. Years ago I spilled water on the keyboard and I had to change it. We eat in the dining room, because my husband likes it better than eating in the kitchen.

@Marty1 When it happens that I am home alone I eat in the kitchen. Have a great day you too.

They are not good swimmers, either. I tend to leave my phone at the school when we go to the pool, or even when we go to the stables.

Always remove the battery if at all possible. You don't want it leaking and corroding everything. I've heard/read somewhere that putting it* in uncooked rice will help dry it out. *Any small electronic device.

I'm glad you got it to work again, that's good. We all do silly things at times.

Yes, we do. I know better than to have liquids on the desk.
