A friend wanted to go for dinner. She's been under a lot of stress and she is putting her dog down next week.
This new place opened up. So we decided go to try it.
I ordered the fish and chips with a coffee and a slice of cheesecake. It was pretty decent in my opinion. Not greasy, and the cake was good. Only issue was the service was slow but being new.

that's true. even when new stores open, it can be slow and sometimes there's confusion among the staff. i'm sorry about your friend's dog. how old was he/she?

Newly opened stores usually are like that - as if they are in a trial stage. I'm craving for some cheesecake now.

Yes, that's what I had said to my friend. It was busy so I brushed it off.

That's what I'm thinking. It wasn't horrendous we did get what we ordered just very slow.

I can forgive the slow service as long as the food is great.

I usually can as well. Service was slow but what ticked me off was people came an hour after us and received their food first.

@ricki_911 Now I couldn't let that one pass by without complaining.

That's what I told her. It wasn't bad but slow almost 3 hours. But everyone else was getting their food who arrived after us
