What is time

Last time I posted something about time. It got me thinking. What is time really? The Wikipedia definition is; the indefinite progress of existence which is irreversible. Some may call it chrono for the Socratic philosophers, wakati/saa for the Swahili and kairos for the Greeks and the 4th dimension for people of science. Arguably time is diverse with age. In the ancients, people used moons,constellations,sun,comets,seasons,natural occurrences(like the migration of the wildebeests and birds) to define and tell time. Time has changed with the evolution of man and maybe it will change in the future. but what everyone in past,present see as time, is, the governor of events and a director of what activity we do like sleep,walk, eat .it's the best organizer of events. we might not know what or who time is exactly but what we know so far is that time is the ultimate barrier that cannot be broken or reversed as long as one lives. That makes it the most precious thing, take it and use it to the fullest. What is time to you?
