No electricity or conexion in my friend´s house in Miami.

I have some very dear friends living in Miami. We wrote mails to each other, but I didn´t know if I was going to see each other again.
Hugo was one of my late husband´s best friends and his wife became my friend when we were very young.
They lived in Chile for many years (after they went to live in Miami and their children stayed there). After I became a widow I went to their house to stay in several occasions. And a few years ago, they went back to Miami to be near their children and grandchildren. I thought (we thought) they would not come back.
Today I received a letter from them. Besides being with no electricity or conections, they have had some troubles with their children. And they want to come back.
I just replied that the house is big. The whole second floor is at their disposal. I am very moved that they asked me to help them. I owe them so very much that I did not know if I would ever repay them in a small measure.

It is not easy to get along with our sons and daughters all the time. There is always a generation gap. I am very close to my to daughters but I would not like to live with ny of them.

They are true, giving friends. It is great you are able to help them and repay them for their generosity towards you in your time of trouble.

What a wonderful friend you are! I also have some friends in the Ft. Myers area in Florida. It's really nice that your friends thought of you and can rely on you for help. They sound like wonderful people...
