Why do women love sending long text messages?

I send and receive a fair amount of text messages on my smartphone. Women form the larger number when it comes to text messaging. Well, men do text too, but only when it’s absolutely necessary. In my circle of friends, I have noticed its girls that keep sending text messages at any given time. The guys too send text messages but only when there is a gaming session or when everyone is meeting over beer. Men text only when a message needs to be conveyed. Women on the other hand text because they love to text. Furthermore, most women send long texts when they get down to messaging. Yes, the smiley occupies a formidable amount of space in a woman’s text message. Also, women text any time of day and expect a reply to a message that doesn’t require… a reply. Why do women love sending long text messages?
