Dead Squirrels...

I earlier read a discussion about a dead squirrel, and it reminded me of the dead squirrel we found in our yard. It was cat kill, and since we have young children in the building we thought to throw it over the fence into the shrubbery. well, as it was flying through the air a bird swooped down and grabbed it, and landed on the lawn. The bird was a hawk and it was beautiful. It stayed in the yard eating its meal and was undisturbed by vehicles coming and going in the driveway. The driveway was about 25 feet from the bird, it remained watchful but undisturbed. When finished with the meal it just sat there for about two hours. It was fascinating and the bird was beautiful, larger than I expected.
