Monday Devotion for our College

Hello good morning myLotter friends! :-) It's a bright and sunny morning today. I brought my son to his school for their Science Month Celebration. They have to wear an animal headdress (the animal depends on the assigned animal type for their section). Then I went to the office for our weekly Monday devotion. In our school, Monday is not a regular class day since we reserve this for meetings, convocations and other activities. Regular class days start on a Tuesday that is why instead of a one hour class we do it for one and one half hours. That is the reason why before we start our activities and classes in the college for the week, we open the week with a faculty and staff devotion. Our university pastor or invited pastor leads the devotion for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Our college dean strongly believes that having this weekly devotion gives all of us in the college a stronger faith and a closer connection to God.
