I was 16 when i started to have a boyfriend, I thought he was the one for me in the future, we dated, and help each others out like in projects, assignments in school and whatever a 16 year old wishes too, we even travel with our friends and spent holidays and birthdays with family, After 6 years in a relationship we broke up, knowing he got someone pregnant, I was devastated and dont know how to moved on from that relationship, I keep myself busy, I am working then and I travel a lot since I worked on an airline company. I dated guys young and older of my age, looking for a serious relationship again, until the time that I want to give up and told to myself that i cant find someone anymore,I will be single for entire life, I was 26 when one of a guy in our company keeps on texting and asking me out, I dont think he was serious at all since he was a single dad. He keep on coming our home and talk to my parents staying and joining with us whenever we have celebrations in our home. My birthday the next year he became my boyfriend, We have ups and downs since many of my family and friends are against him because im single and he was single dad, they asked me why not look for a bachelor or you must think again, or you have a bad decision in choosing. I had second thoughts after that. One day, I tried to avoid him and pray, I asked for break up which he also give.I asked for sign but nothing happens. I miss this guy, how long i need to wait, Lord. Another day, weeks and month had past we doesnt have any communication at all. Our family has a gathering to attend without knowing, my parents invited him and from that time we talked and hug of course, I even cried, we back together and after a months of waiting he proposed, accepting him and his son, we start a new family. And now we are 4 years and counting as husband and wife. (I will asked my husband's side regarding the proposal and I will write it to the next discussion too)
