The Proposal (His side of the story)

My wife asking me to write my side of story of our proposal, I dont know where she's going to use it, but here it goes, First I started to make friends at work to familiarize with the job. Honestly I don’t have any idea what am I into. The job then was so exciting because I would be traveling most of metro manila areas. Then I finally got into our department, I become more excited and joyful because of meeting new friends. One day we had a bonding, we talked about exciting things about our life and our work too. It was the first time I met Aroll Mariano Eveybody was calling her “the youngest” - I thought just because she’s the youngest of the group, but she's the only girl of the group too. When I first saw her, I saw her as a simple and joyful lady. As the days went by, our officemates started to tease me to Ela (her nickname), that she was single and was fun to be with. That time I was thinking if Ela would also like me; and of course if not, she would probably just ignore me. I was so nervous and afraid that time because I have this previous experience that I was left alone. I then tried to make a move but I don’t know where I would begin. One day I was invited by one of our officematesto go bonding with them, Ela was there, and she’s so natural the way she laughs and talks to people. After the gathering, I lent her a ride home and she said, “sure!”. While driving her home I then invited her first for a drink at Starbucks, (the Fort) because I have this coupon given by my sister. And as the days went by, I started to know her more. Another opportunity has come, I again invited her to a birthday party of my nephew in Mandaluyong, because Ela was living in the same city. I tried to call her, when she answered, Ela did not accept my invitation. I was so surprised that she dropped my request. I then remembered before that she was also inviting me to attend a movie, if I’m not mistaken, together with her friends, and I also declined her offer because I was shy that time. I suddenly thought the day that maybe she was mad that’s why “she reciprocated”. I just moved on from what happened. Months went by I started to notice Ela’s beauty outside and within. She was so simple and jolly. I was so attracted to her and started to court her. We became lovers months and months ago, until today we now can handle the problems that come our way with the help of God. Until now we are so happy and blessed because of our Creator, our family who supports us, friends who strengthen us and the laughters we shared together. (After so many months, I proposed to her, Not because I just love her but she is the one I am praying for, … and i only knew today that she really declined my offer of my nephews birthday because I declined her offer too..how silly
