I wouldn't be brave enough to tell someone they had bad breath - but it is very unpleasant if someone has it.

I've been told that if anyone offers me a mint, take one. I might have bad breath and they're trying to be polite! Sometimes I use the trick with offering a mint if someone has bad breath, and sometimes it works.

I will take it as it is and look for ways to get rid of the bad breath. I think I should be thankful that someone had the guts to tell me

If it is my hubby, nope not offended because I do often tell him that he had bad breathe too. We use Listerine to gurgle and constant Brushing during the day

This is a difficult situation. One thing to keep in mind is how well you know the person. If this person is a friend, the friend will usually thank you. Sometimes, however, they won't thank you because they're too embarrassed. If someone told me I had bad breath, I would very likely brush my teeth as soon as I could, and I would thank them. I would also feel insulted, but not if a friend or a family member told me.

I know someone so close to me that actually has a bad breath i thought of ways of telling him indirectly because I was afraid to hurt his feelings...So this is how i did it i told him of how i discovered gargling mouth wash after brushing is so beneficial to our teeth and it makes them stronger.I backed it up by telling him I have seen alot of people review that on the internet. He was amused and we went and got him a mouth wash and he told me he uses it diligently.
