Keep A Cool Tool in the Motor Pool - That saying is one of my favorites from back in the old days in the military. We used to say it often enough when someone was in the process of throwing some sort of a fit or a tantrum. Usually, whenever you said that to someone who was mouthing off, they tended to quiet down. My "motor pool" is one of those electric-battery powered mobility scooters. These scooters are really nice little vehicles on which to ride on the trails and pathways of the forested development that my bride and I now call home. It is now becoming the early autumn of the year here. The trees along the trails are beginning to color up. Yes. It is getting into the "cool tool" season of the year, with colorful leaves beginning to show. One particular tree along the trail has really turned on the bright colors - bright red and bright green leaves for now and maybe other bright colors later. Cool tools, those leaves. Makes a person forget about any bellyaching. With pretty leaves like these to look at as you roll along the trails. it is truly easy to "keep a cool tool in the motor pool."
