So went to the Dollar Tree last night and got a few things that were needed and spent $17 something but $18 rounded. Needed body wash and some food and even got Dean 2 more cups with built in straws he likes so much. Need to go there again soon to get more cheap food like sketti noodles lol. I am sure trying to keep food in my house. Hopefully I make it to the food pantry this week. My cousin going to help me out. We will see. It is needed since its been since July I been there. Ooops. If sales pick up that would help, too.

I only buy what I need and use lot, you can end up spending a fortune in a dollar store.

@carebear29 , sure it happens to me too because you save so much you end up spending more than you came in for.

We definitely keep our cupboards stocked, but try not to buy other things, ever. Even a dollar store can devour a person's money, if they spend on things that actually aren't necessary.

If the items are cheap, do store up your kitchen with dry food

Dollar Tree has some good food bargains. I like that store, except you always spend more then you mean to.

I've been getting all of our pretzels there lately, plus shampoo and body wash.

@carebear29 They sometimes stock some pretty nice hair and body products at Dollar Tree, although I'm not crazy about the Spa Haus brand.

Even with items at a $1 you can spend quite a bit sometimes. I try to stick to my list, but sometimes I will see something unexpected in stock that I buy.
