Yep, i'm 100% serious, there is a conspiracy theory that the moon doesn't actually exist.
This theory branches out in several directions, some saying the moon is actually an alien spacecraft used as a sort of "observation base" to keep watch over earth, others saying the moon is nothing more than a hologram being projected into the sky. Some even go so far as to say that the moon landing was all a ruse staged by NASA to keep us convinced that the moon exists, or, to cover up what they actually discovered, that the moon is an alien base.
Is the moon a hologram?
Are there aliens?
Is it made of cheese?

Ok, I've heard A LOT of conspiracy theories including the moon landing, but never about the moon actually existing. Next thing they will tell us the sun is a big hologram too!

I believe the moon is real. There is even some people that believes that people did not step foot on the moon.

I'll probably make another post just about the moon landing conspiracies, since there are so many. But this was so bizarre I just had to make a post. I don't think it would be possible to fabricate something as large as the moon!
