Makeup Review: Hard Candy Fierce Effects lipsticks

Well let me start off by saying that I was drawn to this brand by their adorable packaging and HUGE selection of crazy colors. I had an event coming up that I needed green lipstick for and they were, honest to God, the only brand that had green. So I grabbed that $5 tube called "Jealousy" thinking that Hard Candy is like a household name, right? They must be good. When I applied the lipstick though I have to say I was a bit disappointed. The color is just as vibrant as it looks and the formula is nice and creamy, but it goes on feeling almost wet, is not opaque, smudges WAY too easily, and does not create a clean edge. It works well pretty much only if you use it on top of another brand of lipstick in a similar color, but it still takes a long time to stop feeling wet on your lips. Definitely not a brand I would recommend unless you just can't find the color you need anywhere else.
