Finally We Got A Good Report!

As many of you know my husband had surgery in July and things didn't go well. You all know he had problems with his lungs and heart during the surgery. After being on the ventilator for several days and finally getting off of it and getting well enough to come home we have been going to it seems doctor after doctor and being sent for one test after another. Well, last Monday he had a stress test done on his heart and went back yesterday for the results. We were both scared to hear the results because the doctor said depending on how bad it was it could mean a pacemaker, stents, or open heart surgery. Well, to both our surprise the doctor came in and told us for now his heart looked stable on the heart medications he was taking, so to continue taking the medications and come back in a year unless he started having problems. Talk about relief! This relieved a big burden off both of us. He still has a problem with his heart but luckily the medication is keeping it in rhythm and nothing else needs done at this point. This is the best news we have received at a doctors appointment for awhile. I hope this is a trend setter and it continues this way!
