A police officer from the Greenville South Carolina Police Department took one week off from his duties to serve and protect to assist the rebuilding efforts in the cities of Naples and Bradenton Florida by removing debris, chopping down trees and other rebuilding tasks. The name of the policeman is Officer Smith since his first name was not released by the Greenville Police Department. I am sure Officer Smith is doing his duty to help the victims of Hurricane Irma as a goodwill gesture to be of assistance of the hurricane victims and not for publicity purposes. The Greenville Police are asking the citizens of Greenville to travel to the cities that were affected by Hurricane Irma to help rebuild their cities.

A good police story instead of the bad raps the police get from the press.
