not turning off the Computer, lights, etc... because you just want to reach a certain level in your Posts before you retire for the night? Or before you go to work?
I am the worst when it comes to this, and even when I am falling asleep here, here I set for another post or two.

I often decide that I will have 1 more cup of coffee and go to bed a little later, which usually becomes a couple of cups later.
This is not just Mylot, it is my addiction to the computer itself. I have done this when creating banners, photo editing, video editing, designing cards or anything else that I may be doing.

Yes, I think I can relate here. Sometimes it is just the "But I only have one more thing left to do, and then I'm done."

Well, last night for me was a hard one for me to get to Sleep and I was tempted a couple of times to come back online

I do this all the time. I forget to turn off the computer or lights on a regular basis. Sometimes I leave the computer on at night in case I wake up during the night and need to do something to make me sleepy again. :-) I forget to turn the computer off before going to work as well.

Good for you. I would wonder if there's just some inkling with you wanting to go back to the Computer to see what you might be missing.

I think that mylot is very addicting. I find myself going to mylot when I'm suppose to be doing other things on the computer. I pay my bills, I go to mylot,I check my email, I go to mylot and so on. I think I'm going to start mylot anonymous.LOL!

Well, myLot anonymous could be an interesting topic in itself. But then where would we go if we gave up this?

I have only done that once and that was because I spent far too long commenting on the responses to one of my discussions. Since then, no I haven't but also I have no set time at which I go to bed. Instead when my eyes get sore or tired, then I know it is time to logout, turn off the computer and light and go to bed. :)

If I have a goal set for that day then yes I have done this too. If not then I just shut it all down and go to bed lol. Sometimes it is hard to pull away from here when I know I am almost at my goal, but I am so tired and just keep on going to reach it lol.

Yes, I know the "one more post" syndrome--I combine it with the "my husband will be home any time now, might as well stay up" malady to get a really effective lack of sleep. So what are your magic numbers . . .I tend to try for multiples of five.

I have found myself like this before, since i am new in mylot, all i can say is it is really challenging if not addicting posting to try to increase the number of posts each day. i really cannot help myself but to just post one more until i spend a few more minutes before i wrap up the work i started with mylot.

Yes, I am staying up so late trying to do a few more posts before I go to bed. It seems like I don't have as much problems with my IP connection late at night. Oh, for the day when high speed is available in my area.

I often tell myself..just one more message and I will quit..seems that the computer is addictive.
