Dream Killer is what we call Ruth. My wife Isabelle's Evil Twin Personality. She isn't really one to always think before responding when asked her opinion on having children at an early age. There seems to be a baby boom among the circle of people we know. It isn't that she isn't happy for the new life to be that bothers her. What bothers her is how little thought people actually put into having a child. People who have nothing to offer a child because they can't even care for themselves and they are bringing kids into the world only to suffer and they want some kind of congratulations. That is when Isabelle turns into Ruth. Not long ago two people we know contacted us to let us know that their 19/20 yr old girls are pregnant. No offense but that is nothing to celebrate. Not when the mothers are high school drop outs who are couch hopping and are not in stable healthy relationships. Not to mention that they have no study respectable income to speak of means or transportation. I understand the joy of a new addition to ones family but how can anyone really celebrate and congratulate someone on having a baby in those circumstances. Doing so is almost like giving someone a pat on the back for ruining a future generations life before it even starts. Some people think that all you need is love. Love is great but it is not the answer or solution to all the things to come. You can't pay bills with love or feed clothe and house anyone on love. Thoughts on this. Should someone be upset that she won't congratulate them on what she doesn't feel is right or support.
