Why do people fail?

September 20, 2017 7:38pm CST
One thing I am sure about is that people do not want to stoop too low. There are those who will not do certain jobs even if they are jobless because they believe that they are too learned for such jobs. Others, don't want to start businesses that are too small because they have a degree or diploma even if they are earning peanuts at their workplace. I believe that a personal business is way more reasonable than working for someone. If you succeed, you will employ people in the future and pay them more than you are paid in your current job. Even then, I know there are people who think otherwise out there. Why have you stuck to your job or to finding a job while you could start your own small business?

One can only risk if there is something in there to counterbalance the potential lost.

My fear when I was employed was that I would be fired any moment and I will have to start the search for a new job from scratch. Even then, I think you'd find it hard to leave a well-paying job for a business that has little potential

@Canaanite Of course! No one likes to get out of their comfort zone (to go job hunting again). In certain cities or areas, having and manage to hang on to a job is not an easy task.

@mildredtabitha the sad thing about being employed is that all you have for tomorrow is hope, You have no power to keep yourself there
