Worried about Health Care

I'm in the United States, and Congress is considering a bill that will make changes to health care. I am really worried about this bill. If it passes, many of the regulations on insurance companies will no longer exist, and they will be able to charge more money. Because I have two chronic illnesses my health insurance payments will skyrocket. I wont be able to afford health care. I dont' know what I'm going to do if I can't go to the doctor. What does everyone think about health care? Is their health insurance in your country? Is health care free where you are? How do you think health insurance should be managed? It should be free in the US, the way it is in Canada and Europe. The insurance companies are so greedy here. They just want to save money so they dont' cover sick people or disabled people. People die here from no health insurance. I hope I'm not one of them./

Health care is sick. I hadn't met my deductible the last time I went to a doc so that visit cost over 200 dollars.

I feel bad for you. Health care is for both the healthy as well as those of us who have chronic health issues. I live in Canada, and although our health care is not at a cost as far as seeing the doctor or having most diagnostic testing done, medications and other forms of healthcare are not free. Your government was going to use our healthcare as a model when they introduced theirs, but it doesn't sound like they did. Hopefully this improves as I really do feel for those in the US on this issue.

Hopefully this attempt will fail as all of the others did. The majority of Americans do not want Obamacare (ACA) repealed.
