I have tried to ignore this whole Kim Jong v Trump thingy. That's how I have viewed it. I have just ignored that pratt launching his missiles. I thought it we all ignore him and not give him the attention he wants, he'll go away. But I wonder. Why do I feel something bad is going to happen... Will it come to nuclear war?

Kim Jong Un is a dictator. Whatever he says, goes (so far, at any rate) and he NEVER retracts anything he has said. Trump would like to be a dictator but he is somewhat moderated by his advisors and sometimes (but not always) subservient to Congress, so he has been known (more than once) to backtrack - if not to exactly back down - on his more outrageous utterances.
Both individuals are playing a very dangerous game. By rights, they should both be put in a sumo wrestling ring, dressed only in the appropriate garb and then let's see who wins! However, that ain't gonna happen and they will both continue to fling threats at each other, daring the other to back up those threats until one of them breaks and does something incredibly silly.
Kim Jong Un cannot be absolutely sure that his part-time allies, the Chinese and the Russians, would actually support him if he makes a definite act of aggression (like bombing Guam, for example) and Trump is a little afraid that they might.
If North Korea decides to launch a real attack, I am pretty hopeful that the Americans could down the ICBM before it actually does any damage but then, of course, Trump would see Pyonyang as a legitimate target and might at least try to obliterate it. The worry is that nobody can be sure how the rest of the world (especially China and Russia) would react in that scenario.

I think you summed the situation up well. when I put the news on I heard Peter Gabriel's' wars without frontiers playing in my head. It is like watching 2 cartoon characters, who are sadly real, taking part in a looney tunes production.

@TheHorse There seems to be evidence that, if the Trumpeter were allowed to play with matches, he'd probably burn the house down. Thankfully, it looks as though there are some moderately sensible adults in the Government who probably won't let that happen.

I can assure you there will never be a nuclear war to happen. It is and it will always be - WAR OF WORDS!
