Fried fish for dinner

Hi everyone good evening. When I go to the market I choose to buy pork for dinner. But when I walk I saw a fish, it's been how many months that kind of fish not seen. So I grab the chances, I buy a 1 kilo of it. And when I got home I immediately fried it. It was really delicious. That fish was called here is BIKAW

Never heard of that kind of fish. I do love fish if it isn't one of those that is overly fishy smelling.

@resukill22 It has a silver looking skin. When the sun shines on the fish the right way; it looks there is a rainbow on skin. I think the rainbow trout is mainly a United States fish.

Is "bikaw " a saltwater or fresh water fish? Does it have a Tagalog name or is it found only there in the South or Mindanao? Gotta ask my wife if she knows, I want to taste it lol

You can get it in salt water, all I know is BIKAW is usually found in PARANAQUE Manila.
