A 19 year old man was charged Wednesday in the death of his mother. Upon investigation it was found that the man killed his mom because she had told him he couldn't keep the puppy he had found. He shot her in the back of the head as she slept.

It's a terrible crime, but I wonder what prompted him to do that other than his mother telling him he couldn't have the puppy. Did she encourage his lifestyle by giving him everything he wanted and when she said no, he killed her? Just a thought.

Chances are @just4him , the mom told him no on many occasions about a lot of things. He just didn't like it. Well, he was living in HER house and he didn't like the rules.

@nanette64 Could be, and only speculation as I don't know the real reason he killed his mother, but I've seen teenagers today, and parents who give in to their children's wishes to avoid any kind of issues. It could be that instead of a tantrum, he got angry at her refusal, which he wasn't used to, and pulled the trigger.

Goodness sakes, I wonder if he was a spoiled child or just had a violent nature. You can't keep a puppy in jail, kid. Very sad
