Want to get Pregnant before marriage

I'm been diagnose before of having cyst in both ovaries but i already undergone surgery and it was successful. I've been trying to get pregnant since then. I want to make sure that i can have a child before marriage so my live-in partner would not be trapped in a childless marriage. What do you think?

Why not get married already, if you want to have a baby already. You are already living-in anyway. At least the child will not be illegitimate.

Yeah, i know that it is the right thing. But i've seen it before, two of my colleague had an affair because in their long years of marriage his their wive didn't give them a child, when they impregnated another woman they left their wife.

@Phelly02 But at least you can sue him in court for leaving you and ask for support for the child. But if not married, he can deny you the support for the child if ever that happens. But don't think like that. See to it that he loves you much he won't think of leaving you even if he impregnated another. Pray everyday for your marriage to stay strong.

Is child the only thing your partner needs in a marriage? If two are happy together, they can always adopt a child than leaving each other for that reason.

That doesn't sound like a good idea to me. I would wait until you meet a man you want to marry and would make a good father. I would think a man would prefer for you to wait for him before having a child. A lot of times when in a solid relationship like that the body finally relaxes, and pregnancy suddenly becomes easier. Don't try to manufacture a family because it will come to you when the time is right.

Me and my partner talked about the issue on the weekend we had a serious talked. And We decided to have our marriage first before the baby. It’s because he was just accepted in our family whole heartedly, and according to my partner, he doesn’t want to destroy the trust of my parents and siblings to him by having me impregnated before marriage. So by December since I always return home at our hometown for Christmas he will accompany me and officially asked my parents blessings for our marriage. Hopefully it would turned out well. Thanks :)

You are in the right age to marry and get pregnant so why not get marry already? Why complicate things? You'll be blessed with a child soon. It's better that way.

@Phelly02 You can procreate. But only GOD knows when. You just have to pray to GOD to give you a child.

It really depends on your priorities and what you can immediately do. I say try to get pregnant first and during the early stages of the pregnancy, once it is confirmed, you can get married.

According to chinese tradition, it is a shameful act to get pregnant before marriage, that is a taboo to us. Furthermore, Christians don't get pregnant before marriage too, against the bible or ten commandments. Anyway, it depends on you and your partner agreements and your parents point of view. If all agrees, then go ahead but don't regret later.
