At what age should people retire?

September 22, 2017 9:50am CST
Retirement is always a subject that politically speaking yields many controversies, mainly being a subject where the authorities responsible for this have very different views and purposes (which is something pretty dangerous). But what would be your vision about this? At what age should this happen?

It is very hard to say. I like to retire early, such as 50 or 55 years old. As at that time you may still have a good health and you can still have some time for yourself to do something you like rather than working.

In Malaysia retirement age is around 60-62 years old. That is the time when the retiree withdraw the money from KWSP ( also known as a saving fund for the employee by the employer )

I guess it really depends on the situation. Some people can do it sooner than others.

This question will be answered in a different way depending on each person and also on health and savings during life. I retired at a reasonable age because I had enough money to live well in retirement and my two daughters were working well. Other people either have less or want more.

It depends upon the individual.
