“The insidious nature of socialism, cloaked in a façade of compassion, makes it very dangerous to an uneducated and trusting populace. And as socialism creates dependency, it is well on its way to eliminating freedom of choice and incentives for high productivity and innovation.” Ben Carson, America the Beautiful: Rediscovering What Made This Nation Great What a great book! The above quote gives one an idea of the love for America that Ben Carson shares with many other Americans. The American dream is "the ideal that every US citizen should have an equal opportunity to achieve success and prosperity through hard work, determination, and initiative". (google dictionary). Dr. Carson's book delves into the American dream and reveals the dangers of that dream being lost to our citizens. The book is well-written and easy to follow. It reveals the knowledge and passion of the author, and resonates with me as well as many other Americans. I would give this book a 10 out of 10.

I like Ben Carson and that is one book I've been wanting to read. He was and still is my first choice for President.
