Busy Monday "Day Off" Planned

Happy Monday to you! How is everyone doing? I normally dont start these types of posts but am excited to say that my day is underway already. It is 0629, puttng some elliptical time in at the gym, and then I will be off to the homeless shelter for a few hours of volunteering - and I have compiled 4 garbage bags of clothing donations to give them as well. After that I will be headed to my second job to put4-5 hours in. After that I will be doing some quick grocery shopping. I like these busy days but they do not feel like a true "day off". Then again, I will have the evening to relax. What is everyone else up to today? Do you like keeping busy on your days off

Hey Maezee glad to hear about your day.It is indeed an off day that is rewarding.Giving back to the society definitely feels more rewarding than spending a free day watching your favorite Tv show. Mine will be sent indoors as i have some research to do and deadliness to meet.Hope you get a good rest in the evening..:)

@maezee I love Monday and to me is a day that begins with all the activity, whether you are working in the office or studying in the university. Monday can keep me busy to do more planning for the coming days.

Your day off sounds like mine! Today, I was supposed to be going to an AquaFit class with a friend but she cancelled so I went to the gym and swimming instead. Before that, I took my son to school and got some housework done. Since coming home from the gym, I've had some lunch (which is good because I wasn't expecting to be home for lunch) and submitted some work to a writing site. Now, it seems, I have over an hour spare. I'll most likely hang around here on myLot for a while. I must remember that I need to get changed before I go to work, though! After work, I'll be picking up my other half and going to his sister's before heading to mine for dinner. I'll get to relax for a bit after dinner and before I take my other half back home. This is my least busy day this week, I think. Tomorrow, I am teaching for three hours in the morning, working with Nightmare Boss for a couple of hours in the afternoon before going to my other job later in the afternoon. But, I have nowhere else to go in the evening tomorrow so that's a bonus!

All my days are off but I still have more than enough to do. Donations and volunteering is a wonderful thing to do.
