Magnetic Bracelets for health

Yesterday my parents bought me one of these. I wasn't too sure about it as I have given up pretty much with alternative medicine and my health. I would of rather had the £35 in cash for bills rather than try yet another 'treatment'. So I'm now wearing a magnetic bracelet that is meant to help with migraines, etc. Of course, I have a thumping migraine and I'll pilled up to high heaven, so doesn't appear to be working yet. Anyone tried a magnetic bracelet for health? If so, did it make any difference?

Me too. The lady selling it said 'you can feel it is getting warm. It's working', but metal does heat up, so that was just my body heat acting on it. I wouldn't of bought it, but my parents did.

@m_audrey6788 My head is terrible today, so I'm on 15mg codeine or I couldn't do any 'work' online this afternoon, so I'm not sure this bracelet is worth 35p let alone £35. I'll wear it for 1 month then I'll stop if nothing has changed.

I think it is more the power of suggestion - if you think it will work it might. I'm way past believing 'cures' and 'treatments'. I've been in chronic pain for over 10 years, so I'm a huge cynic nowadays

Once, in the not so distant past, I also tried one of those magnetic bracelets. Having read somewhere how such accessories can help improve blood pressure and counter stress, I didn't have second thoughts in putting one on my wrists. Well, I thought I got what I expected in terms of health benefits. Later on, I noticed that it was more of a psychological crutch rather than an energy medium attracting positive ions with medicinal effects. I have long since stopped wearing the magnetic bracelet.

That's what I think it might be - psychological. Also judging by price, looks like it is much cheaper online. I wouldn't have bothered with it.
